Is your equipment Good to Go? Our new ‘Good To Go Safety’ range has been specifically developed to aid our customers in carrying out essential equipment checks, providing them with a way to log all inspections and clearly tag all equipment to demonstrate whether it is safe or not for use
The Good to Go™ Safety Tagging system is specifically designed for use on the following equipment:
- Forklifts
- Ladders
- Racking
- Harnesses
- Scaffolding
- Scaffold towers
- MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Working Platforms)
The common characteristic shared by all the above is they need to be regularly and systematically inspected. Whether carrying out daily, weekly or monthly inspections, the Good to Go™ Safety system ensures the person responsible checks all the essential areas before use, creates an auditable record of findings and clearly marks the equipment as to whether it is safe for use.
The Good to Go™ Safety system comprises of three key components:
Robust, Patented Status Pod
- Highly visible, hardwearing and weather resistant pod
- The pod can be attached to any piece of equipment using cable ties, screws, rivets or adhesives
- Sits flush on both flat or curved surfaces (like scaffolding tube) to avoid potential snagging or breakage problems
- Each Pod clearly displays a default Do Not Use message prior to an inspection being carried out
Check Books containing 25 checklists and their respective audit trail carbon copies
- 8 Different check book types available : scaffolding, forklifts, ladders, MEWPs, scaffold towers, racking, harnesses, along with a Design your own version
- Each book provides 25 sequentially numbered checklists for competent person to complete
- Provides key guidance notes, reminding the competent person what they should be checking on their equipment
- Once completed the top copy is inserted into the Pod to inform all users as to whether that equipment is GOOD TO GO™ and safe for use.
- Duplicate carbon copy is generated for each completed inspection to provide an auditable record of all inspections
Optional Tamper evident seal
- Fitted into Pod once inspection is complete
- If the seal is broken/missing, it alerts operative that the inspection status or checklist may have been altered
The Good To Go™ Safety range complies with the legislation and industry best practice laws. It is there to help you in the workplace by preventing accidents and reducing maintenance costs, it improves employee’s confidence and morale with regards to their work surroundings. It is time efficient – providing you with onsite check procedures. It prevents lost man time and equipment downtime and it can be fully customised for company specific needs.
